We were tasked to build one of the first 3D training platforms using Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality in 2015.
Using some of the earliest tools, and creating some of our own on the market, we developed a working online simulation for implant dentistry.
The product became the focus of a case study for the MBA program at Nanyang Technological University Singapore. We worked very closely with Stanford, University of the Pacific and University of Pennsylvania professors to develop 3D simulations for their own lectures and courses.
Eventually, the product received venture funding by a well-known Silicon Valley venture capitalist, and was invited to speak to several firms including Andreesen Horowitz (a16z) and NEA.
The project pushed us to learn so much in this growing category, combining our expertise in 3D and 2D motion graphics, coding, and videography to help gain traction.
